Happy Hollis

So the medicine is working.....plus no caffeine and no dairy!! Caffeine really aggravates her reflux so my morning cup of coffee is no more. Sad but so glad we know what NOT to do! She was so pitiful when she was hurting and now she is so very happy!

Visitors

My good friend Amanda and my mom came up for a quick little visit. Amanda snapped some pictures of the time together....

We aren't sure if its because we have a new baby at home, but Marin
LOVES her baby doll. She plays with her all the time.
She burps her, puts her in the bouncy seat, and on the play mat.
So very cute. 

Amanda is so talented and made each of our girls a painting for their room.
Marin's has a verse from Jeremiah (Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you....").
And  Hollis has a verse from I John (How great is the love the Father has lavished on you).

Marin loved her painting. She studied it for a long time.

So sweet.
Thank you, Amanda! We love them! 

I pulled this exercise ball out to exercise.
It's now one of Marin's favorite toys.
And its a workout as well. 

She could bounce on it all day long.

Pancake Festival

This past weekend we went to a Pancake Festival at the Nature Park behind our house. Marin had a blast!

She really enjoyed the chocolate chip cookie!

Hollis stayed home and napped! 

Acid Reflux = Devil

So this BEAUTIFUL baby...

has acid reflux. It has been terrible. She nurses and CRIES. She arches her back and is in so much pain. We have held her in every position to try and find ones that give her relief. I have cut caffeine (Lord, help me) out of my diet because it aggravates reflux more. I have tried nursing her different ways and that seems to help a little. But today the doctor prescribed her some Zantac and we are hoping that it will help with some of the acid pain that she is feeling. Fingers crossed. We just feel so terrible for her.
We love you, Hollis and hope this heartburn goes away!

The Big Swing

Marin wanted to swing on the big swings yesterday. I know I am there mom but my goodness my kids are cute!

Marin has been wearing hair clips every day since her hair cut.
She actually keeps them in her hair!!
