Puffins

Marin made breakfast for us the other morning. She made Puffins...pancake muffins. I found the recipe on Pinterest and thought it would be perfect for those sweet little hands in the kitchen.

Puffins

1 cup pancake mix
3/4 cup water
1/2 syrup
Mix and pour in muffin tin.
Add toppings of your choice.

We added chocolate chips and bananas and walnuts.

Bye Bye

Today Marin started climbing on her step stool and saying Bye to every car that drove by. It was pretty funny! 

Hollis is a rockin'

While Marin was playing today, Hollis was practicing rocking. She really got going one time and I thought she may actually roll over. Big girl!

Rock a Bye Your Bear

Marin loves The Wiggles. Really she loves MUSIC and they sing for 10 minutes. They show the same little song and rhyme clips OVER and OVER again. But this seems to be her favorite...Rock a Bye Your Bear.  Here are the Wiggles doing it....

We watch it a million times just to see her do the motions to the song. The "shh shh" part is my favorite. She puts her little finger to her lips and nods her head. I can't get enough.

Crayons and Creepy Crawlies

Today Marin wanted to pull out her markers and crayons and do some artwork. :o)

She looks so big here. Tear. 

She has a mouthful of bacon here.

I decided to do some "Creepy Crawly" stuff with the girls. Bugs seems like a fun spring thing to do. We have art projects and dirt cup snacks to make later. :o)

First up, a bug sensory box.
Eventually I will dye the pasta noodles fun colors for a more I Spy kind of game. 

Marin loved it of course.
The noodles were more fun than the bugs at first. :o)

Hollis just watched big sister play....

then she decided to get in on the action.
Look at those chubby legs!!

And of course, we had to dump it out all on the floor.
