Family Vacation

We went on a quick vacation to Hawaii (the island of Oahu) last week. It was beautiful and we all had a great time!
 Lots of pictures ahead....
Her first tropical drink. Pineapple, Mango, and Orange juice.

At the Sea Life Park looking at the sharks!

Trying to get a picture with Maye Maye but way to interested in the HUGE turtles.

See the big turtles.

Hollis napped. This girl is such a trooper.
She just goes with the flow and naps and eats wherever.

This was at the Sea Life Show.
She saw dolphins and penguins and sea lions do some really neat tricks.
Marin was MESMERIZED.

Wanted to get in the big fish tank and swim with the dolphins.
But the sea lions may have been her favorite.

Hollis trying to get a picture with Maye Maye.
Not bad!
(I just need to crop the guy that looks like he is picking his nose out of the picture.)

Marin got to touch all kinds of neat things!
Starfish and sea cucumber and turtles!
And she did such a good job using two fingers only.

Where we spent one of our mornings.....

Look at that sweet girl!

And this sweet girl!

Hollis taking a little dip with Daddy-O.

Burke taking Maye Maye out to snorkel for the first time in her life.
Apparently she did better than me.

"Hey, where are they going? And what are they wearing?"

"Sister, let's play!"

She loved playing in the sand but did NOT like the sand on her  feet.

Burke and I squeezed some date time in since we brought a Maye Maye.
It was so much fun.
We had sushi and walked and shopped and had a cocktail over looking the ocean.
Perfect.

Mother and Daughter

Maye Maye was a huge help to us but I'm pretty sure we wore her out. :o)

We saw several rainbows and a lady almost got drenched from some
water that looked like some one threw over a balcony (but there was no balcony).
But when we asked her about it she explained it was a flash shower.

A little train ride.
Burke taught Marin to say choo choo.
It's now my favorite thing to hear her say. So cute!

Loved the train ride

Hollis was a huge hit with all the Japanese tourists.
Every where we went (including this train ride) she had random
tourists taking her picture.
It was really funny.

Of course, Hollis is trying to eat it.

Feeding some HUGE fish.

Trying to get some sister beach pictures. Didn't work out too well.
But again we had some Japanese tourists also snapping away.
It was a bit distracting to the girls. :o)

My favorite!

Another favorite!

We tried several times to get our footprints picture but the ocean kept washing it away.
I love this one though. Marin looks so big and I love Hollis' feet hanging off Burke's hip.

Marin wanted to wear one of Maye Maye's visors.
Twins.

We went to an aquarium.
It was small but so great. Much better than our aquarium.

Marin loved it.

Can you tell?
And from Burke's snorkeling with the underwater video camera....
