Oatmeal!

Hollis tried oatmeal for the first time yesterday! Hollis liked it once she got the hang of it. And it was getting close to Marin's bedtime that is why she was having a meltdown.

Our little wobbly4 month old is trying so hard to sit up on her own!

18 Months Old

Marin Jordan turned 18 months old this week! She is growing up too fast but man, is she so much FUN!! 

These days, she....

• talks all the time. Most of it is her own language but talks, talks, talks. She says the words mama, dada, baby, hi, bye, thanks, tickle tickle, beep, baa, moo, and no consistently. 
• loves to swim and play in water. Sprinklers may be her new favorite thing in the world.
• is so very sweet to her sister. 
• loves to climb anything....stairs, toy boxes, slides, anything.
• loves to "drive" the car. And pop open the trunk....
• can work an Ipad like crazy. 
• loves any art project...crayons, markers, paint. 
• has the best time at her gymnastics class and the park. (And has loved watching the diving Olympic trials....)

We went to the pool for a swim day. The water was FREEZING but she had a blast. I didn't get any pics
in the pool but swimming worked up a big appetite. :o)

Marin did so great in the pool. She went under the water, would jump off the edge (from sitting position) to me as I moved back further each time, and kicked, kicked! 

Big Girl

Look at this big girl trying to sit up all by herself!! She does pretty well in the boppy pillow. And of course, look at those adorable rolls.

Yesterday, we had both girls in the double stroller and we had about 3 people ask us if they were twins. HA! 

I love that smile, Hollis!

Rooty Tooty's New 'Do

Marin is so very hot natured and the summer heat is just too much for her. So we decided to give her a short little summer haircut to cool her off. I think she looks so stinkin' adorable. Of course Rooty Tooty wouldn't let me get her picture so here are the zillion and one outtakes. You can at least get the idea.

Hollis- 4 Months Old

Baby Hollis, you are 4 months old today! It is going by so quickly. So lately you.....

• talk ALL. THE. TIME. Well, actually you squawk(sp?). Talking and squawking all the time. 
• love, love, love your Daddy. I mean, you LOOOOOVE him. He walks into the room and you can't help but stare at him and give him goo goo eyes. 
• are freakishly strong.
• can roll from front to back and back to front. And once or twice I have caught you trying to push up and kick off with your feet. You may NOT in any way become mobile yet. :o)
• want to sit up and will often try and pull yourself to sitting position. 
• enjoy your car seat now. Very helpful. Thank you.
• take about 3-4 45 minute naps.
• can take or leave your pacifier. Sometimes you want it and sometimes you hate it. 
• love music and singing. 
• could watch your sister all day. 
• has the biggest and best smile ever.
• is losing your hair. Sorry baby girl. It will grow back though and you'll get pretty hair bows too. 
• wear 9 month clothing and weighs 19 lbs! 
• drool all the time! 

You were squirming and moving all over the chair.
You little stinker.
