10 Weeks Baby Brednich #2

Our doctor's appointment for new baby went well today! He or she was moving around so much. It was amazing to see how much has changed in just 2 weeks. Heart rate was 180 this time and all measurements look good. Due date is officially February 20!

7 MONTHS!!

How can it be that our little girl is 7 months old?!?!?  She is getting so big and amazes us every day with the new things she learns to do! This month would definitely be titled "Busy Little Bee".  Her 7 month pictures were a bit harder to take this time because she just didn't want to be still! She is into EVERYTHING.

The best ones:

And the outtakes:
Turning left.....

Turning right....

Pulling up the seat cushion...

Knowing she is being a stinker...
Trying to jump out of the chair....
And because I am a bad mother and tried to keep her still for a picture....
Don't worry, Mother. She recovered in a matter of seconds. ;o)

Some of these are repeats from other posts but I wanted them all in her 7 months post:

  • Moving and grooving! Crawling everywhere and getting into everything!
  • Pulling up! It doesn't matter where she is at....the couch, her crib, the STROLLER....she is going to get herself to standing position!
  • She loves to eat! Oatmeal, pears, and sweet potatoes are some of her new favorites.
  • When she wants more of something, she makes a really annoying hyperventilating sound.
  • She loves to eat paper. We have many torn, chewed on magazines and mail laying around. You would seriously think we had a dog.
  • We think she may be getting a tooth soon. We have no idea what we are looking for and it seems like we have been expecting this forever but she does have a little white speck on her gums that we are assuming is a tooth!?!?  We shall see. But I can give her a cold, hard pear or apple slice and the child will rub her gums forever and be as happy as a clam.
  • Burke's cell phone and dental floss seem to have her attention these days. If they are in her sight, she is going after them.

some random pictures....

I found this "My first Backpack" at a thrift store for $1. It is a cute little quiet book with numbers,
letters, nursery rhymes, etc. But Burke put it on her and she just looked too cute not to snap a picture of her!

She couldn't understand why I was wanting a picture behind her. It took forever to get one because
she kept turning around to smile.

This is Marin's new favorite play spot. If you decide to sit on the corner of the couch,
we can guarantee there will
be a little Beluga crawling your way. She likes to prop herself up over the armrest and knock off
every single thing on the end table. It is hilarious! But she could stay there for hours.

I am not sure what I was doing here but you can see her HAIR. She finally has some. In fact, she can get bed head and when she swings her hair will "blow" in the wind. :o) It's already over her ears. (Mother, it is blonde.)

Marin feels that anytime we eat something she must, MUST, have some too.
So we had some rice cakes and, of course, Marin crawls over in 2.4 seconds and starts the
hyperventilating sound requesting a taste. She loved it.

Another Day at the Park

Marin likes to ride way up front so she can see everything.

watching the water at the splash pool.....

Getting a little wet!

And now it's time to swing....

Always needs something in her mouth!
Love those legs!

I love this picture.
So very sweet!

Snack Time!

If Marin could talk, during snack time she would say, "I can do it all myself!". She is hilarious. She wants to put the spoon in her mouth. She wants to put the veggie puff in her mouth....even if it does take her 45 minutes to get one bite.
But she has started doing this really loud hyperventilating sound when she wants more. You think you should start CPR but really just give her another snack and she will be ok.

Here's a little video....

Funny Video

Here is a video of Marin climbing up Burke to get the video camera. It makes me laugh. (And for you Brednichs, you can hear Burke do his throat scratching thing. That makes me laugh too.)

Our Sweet Girl

Marin has learned a few new tricks....
  • She can get back to sitting position from laying down. It is so cute to watch too. And she does it in her crib all the time. So now when we go in to get her from her nap, she is sitting up waiting for us.
  • She can pull up to standing position.
  • She has tried to clap twice now or at least I think that is what she is trying to do. I will start 'pat a cake' and she will try to clap.
  • She has outgrown the army crawl and is now doing the big girl, belly off the floor crawling. She only does it on the rug. The hardwood floors are too hard but she does have carpet burn on her knees. She will go from corner to corner of the rug, playing with everything along the way. The girl is busy, BUSY, busy!

Doing her chores....helping with laundry.

This little girl is pulling up to standing position. The laundry basket was a
perfect height for her!

So proud!
Sorry its blurry....

The Alabama dress Pop got her.
Love the elephant prints on her bloomers!

Look who is still awake!!!

Love this little girl.
She will play so hard on the rug with all her toys!

Helping at the grocery store!

Waiting for Daddy to come home!

Alabama

We went to Alabama for a short, little trip to visit my family. We were planning on staying longer since Burke had to work, but this pregnancy thing is kicking me in the rear, so we came home early. Thanks family for being so sweet and understanding! We all had a great time!

The flight was pretty empty and Marin wanted a seat all to herself. :o)

She didn't sit like that long but it sure was cute!

Getting some loving from Pop. (She also got the most adorable Alabama dress. Roll Tide!
The girl is ready for football season!
Don't worry, Burke, I've got an idea for a KU dress. :o)

We spent one day at a water park. It had very BIG, SCARY slides. I'm glad I had the
pregnancy excuse to get out of going down them. But Marin, of course, loved playing in the water and
watching the other kids. Then Maye Maye worked her magic and got the little fish to sleep.

Seeing horses for the first time! She is going to love this when she gets a bit older!

Chatting with Maye Maye

Getting some bananas off my plate.

Snoozing with Aunt Cissy.

Trying to get a picture with my husband. :o)

He is so much fun.

Cissy, thanks again for the airport pick up and drop off. Then the airport pick up
and drop off again...stinkin' delayed flights. But we enjoyed breakfast with you!

My brother-in-law got some pictures of Marin with my nephews and I plan on stealing them from him. Will and Drew cracked us up. We have never seen two boys fight over who gets to hold a baby more than these two! Good thing we are having another one soon. :o) Love you all! I mean, y'all.
