Nose, ears, mouth, eyes

We have been working on naming our nose, eyes, ears, mouth....but she could see herself in the iPad and she got a little distracted.

Just for fun....

Our girls....
This girl is well on her way to rolling over from back to front and....

loving every minute of it!

Having so much fun ROLLING around EVERYWHERE!

I love Sunny Days.

Blurry but you get the idea.
Rolls and laughter.

Marin loves to read.
She is really into touch and feel books and lift the flap type books.
It's fun.

Burke loves putting this work goggles on her.
It really is funny.

She thinks its funny too.

Looking at baby sister napping in the video monitor.

Now talking to her like a telephone.

We are loving summer dresses this year.

Her latest is putting her baby doll in the carseat.
She likes to try and snap it.

Playing in the sprinklers after a hot day at the park. We had to stop at every single one on our walk home.

Our neighbor friend joined us for the fun.

Some of our days....

First.....our beautiful Hollis enjoying some tummy time.

Practicing the roll over. Seriously, look how BIG our baby is!

Next....Burke got the girls matching pajamas. Well, really he got them for me. I love PJs on our babies!
Checking out the PJs or...
wondering how she can steal Sister's passy.

"I will not look at you, Mommy."

This picture just makes me laugh.
Hollis doesn't know what is going on and then there's Marin making a little appearance.

Her "I'm being a stinker" face.

Momma's crazy eyes.

They wanted to watch a show before bed....on their changing pads.

And then.....this is becoming a common activity at our house. I push Hollis in the stroller and Marin pushes her baby. It really is so very cute. (Except one walk ended with me pushing Hollis, carrying baby and stroller, AND Marin while both were crying. One baby was ready to go in while the other was not finished climbing all the neighbors steps. Yeah, I'm sure our street got a good laugh at that one.) Other than that, it's really cute.

"Bye"
One of her favorite words. She waves and blow kisses.
She said her first "sentence" the other night.
Looked up at Burke, gave a little wave, and said "Hi, Daddy."

Happy girl!
We love our cousin's hand me downs!
We pulled out Kate's summer dresses this week! Now that she is walking, it is a lot easier to wear dresses!
And we got some new hair bows!

Last but not least....our 3 month old in her sister's 9 month old outfit. We have a big girl.

Our Video Stars

So here are a few videos that were on the camera. Some are a few weeks old but still cute.

Talking girl....

This is a big no no in our house but one day I stopped the swing and let big sister be in charge. She loved it! By the way, Hollis has officially outgrown the swing. It's on its way out.

And we are learning where our nose, eyes, ears, mouth are....can you tell?

I was given strict instructions not to put this on the blog but I can't help it. He is such an amazing Dad and our girls are so extremely lucky to have him.  Family, I hope you get to see it before he makes me take it off. ;o)

Nature Stroll

A couple of weeks ago, we went on a little nature stroll on a pretty day. We read (or tried to read) Going on a Bear Hunt (she kept speeding through the pages....) but then we decided to go on a hunt ourselves. Marin got her special treasure box (an empty Krystal Light container) and collected rocks, sticks, flowers, three leaf clovers, and other nature-y stuff. She loved it.

Checking out her treasures.
She loves "collecting" things.

"Ooooh"

Trying her best not to fall asleep!

We didn't find a bear but we did see a deer in the park.
Can you find it?

Then we came home and played with all of the treasure.

Hollis wasn't a fan of the sunshine.
(look at that chunky monkey)

So she sat in her car seat under the shade.

Hollis Rolls Over!

Burke and I were talking the other night about how we needed to be better with "tummy time" and Hollis. So this morning, I put that little stinker down on her mat and it was only a few seconds and she had rolled over onto her back!! She did it about 3 more times before she got tired. Here is a video of her new skill! We love you, Hollis. You are getting too big!

Hollis- 3 Months Old

Our precious Hollis Adelaide is 3 months old! This girl is growing too fast. Right now, Hollis.....
  • is now 17 lbs! Off. the. charts.
  • talks, talks, talks. She is so very chatty.
  • loves her play mat. She hits the rattles and grabs hold of the toys hanging down.
  • loves doing pat a cake with big sister.
  • likes to snuggle with her Mommy and bounce with her Daddy.
  • is not a fan of road trips and her car seat.
  • will give you big smiles when you talk to her.
  • is a great sleeper at night but cat napper during the day. She got used to napping in her swing because of her acid reflux. But now she is growing out of her swing and she is having to learn about "still" naps. :o)
  • really, really watches Marin. It's cute.
  • is not a passy girl but she will suck on her fingers occasionally.
  • has the best laugh.
  • is very ticklish on her feet!
