Beautiful Days

More outside time....love it!

We have some morning glories that just popped up in our yellow rose bush. But we love them. Marin and I also look out in the morning to see if the flowers are open or closed.

I got an itch to redecorate. So I painted this piece of furniture we stole from my mom during our move.

And its new look....
We inherited the silver from my mother-in-law and I finally found a new home for them. Plus a little "spooky" Halloween fun.

Bowling with 'Sparkle' School

The girls went bowling for the first time this past week with "Sparkle" school. They had so much fun and bet we go back again for a little family night.

I love the little bowling shoes.
I love this picture (above). Marin has her hands in the air to celebrate Hollis rolling the ball. Hollis has those hands on her hips because she didn't knock down any pins. And Daddy....well, he is laughing at Hollis. I mean, that hand/hip combo....dramatic. Such a good Daddy-o.

Waiting for their ball. Every ball looked orange to me but there was clearly something different about each one because they each waited for their "specific" orange ball!?!?!?1

Park Days are Back

We had a great morning at the park and I snapped a few dozen pictures!!

This series of pictures is Marin telling Hollis that the bridge on the playground was broken. Hollis was not at all happy about it.

More park pictures coming. Love our weather these past few days!

Alabama Trip #1

First, you have to know that our girls LOVE Alabama. Seriously. They cry, I mean, CRYYYY when we leave.  The whole entire walk from security to our gate, Marin asked, "Why do we have to go back to Texas?"
BECAUSE WE LIVE THERE!!!!! Sheesh.
But it does make this southern girl a bit happy that they love it so much. But, the constant " can we go to Alabama today?" gets a bit old.

This dress was mine from when I was a little one. Hollis called it her princess dress the whole visit. ha! And well you have to have the feet to go with the princess dress....disgusting. Signs of a fun day.

 Clown costume...again from my childhood.....

This girl loves her MayeMaye. And her cousins.....
This game is called "My MayeMaye"...."No, MY MayeMaye." They go back and forth and back and forth.
Hollis Adelaide and Hollis Andrew
My sweet, sweet girl!

A little walk with Aunt Cissy
We went and saw Will play in his football game. The girls loved the cheerleaders the most (insert eye roll here). But they were doing stunts and flips and it was pretty cool for a 2 and 3 yr old. So when we were leaving the girls found a little hill to run down. Drew would catch them and throw them up in the air. Side note: Drew LOVES the girls. LOVES them. The only reason he cares about my existence is because I bring the girls with me when I come.

But the run, jump, throw routine was a huge hit and Drew definitely got a workout.

A little nature hunt at Maye Maye's house. My mom lives in the country. Think cows, horses, hay fields. Of course, they love it.

Hollis, our little bag lady. See that yellow ball in the bag. My mom took it away just to see if the bag lady would even notice something was missing from her stash.
Notice those hands on her hips. She noticed. HAHAHAHAHA! And that bag made a trip back to Texas with us. She couldn't part with it. And, yes, it made it back on our 2nd trip to Alabama. Again, couldn't part with it.
A little game of tag....

I'm not sure if I had my camera with me on our second Alabama trip but I do know I have some pictures on my phone. The second round we were at PawPaw's house and Pop and Carole's house. They have so much fun at every single place. I think it was Friday before I didn't hear any comment about Alabama. :o) Thank you family for being so good to our kids. They definitely feel loved.
