Needed: Piano Lessons

So apparently we are going to have to check into piano lessons soon. :o) Marin LOVES to play the piano and SING, sing, sing. It is so cute. If I ask her to sing a Twinkle, Twinkle (or any other song), she will say "I need to go to my piano." Ha! Here is a little video of a daily performance.

B-I-B-L-E

Hollis' favorite part of Bible class is the Bible part. She loves to pat her Bible, turn the pages, and love her Bible. The girls got their very own Bibles with their names on them for Christmas. Hollis carries it around and wants to sing the songs a LOT. She is so cute. Here is a little snip it of the song. (Side note: There are Jesus stickers on some blank pages so the girls look for Jesus in their Bibles. Another favorite part of Bible class. It is pretty cute though to hear her shout "Jesus" when she finds him.

Reading her Bible. :o)

Marin Age 3 Loves....

 Just for fun....

Happy 3rd Birthday, Marin!

Our little baby is THREE!! Crazy, crazy.
First birthday story actually happened last night when I was putting her to bed. She was laying in bed and I thought she was asleep when she rolled over with her hand up in the air. Then she started folding her pinky finger down and then her thumb down until she had 3 fingers up in the air. With a big grin, she looked at me and said "It's my birthday tomorrow." Love that girl.

But her day started with a balloons down the stairs. She had asked for balloons and sprinkles. :o) She loved the balloons. It was so sweet to see her excitement. Then she got to the table with all of her presents and more balloons!
Her birthday shirt.

The birthday table!

Balloons on the stairs.....

BALLOONS!!!

"It's my birthday."

Checking it all out.

A "birthday horn"
After checking it all out, she went straight to opening presents. She's a pro at that now.
Present time!

Love the birthday hat on her head.

After presents, she asked for her cake. Cake for breakfast....why not....it's your birthday. So excited!

She blew out all of her candles all by herself. So big.

Trying out her new balance bike.
Thank you, Mimi!
Next....we took her to Build a Bear. We went and checked it out back in October and decided then it was the birthday "party" for Marin this year. Every time we went into the mall, she would always ask about her birthday party. So exciting for her. And since stuffed animals are a favorite of hers, it really was the best place to go for her 3rd birthday. She loved it!
Waiting for the store to open...
She had been randomly talking about a unicorn all morning. I wasn't sure if Build A Bear would have a unicorn (!?!?) so I had been talking up puppy dogs and bears. But it always came back to the UNICORN. So, so, so, HAPPY that they had one. And it was purple which it made it even better!
She loves her purple unicorn.
(It's actually a My Little Pony...shhhh, don't tell her.)

Pushing the petal to fill her unicorn (named Princess) up with stuffing.

The birthday girl!

She had to hold her unicorn's heart up in the air and turn around, kiss it, put it on her nose,  and belly, etc.
Not sure why but she loved it.

Once the heart was put in and her unicorn stitched up, it was time for some grooming.

This was Hollis' reaction to it all. Hahahahahaha!
She picked out a puppy dog but didn't quite "get" the whole experience yet.

Showing me her unicorn. I love this picture.
She loves her purple unicorn.

All boxed up and ready to go.

Marin is our picky eater but she loves Chinese food?!?! Egg drop soup and sesame chicken. :o) So for her special birthday lunch that's what she got! This place had fish everywhere which made it even more fun.

She won't eat mac and cheese but she gobbles egg drop soup.
And then a little fun with all the balloons! Happy birthday, Marin! We love you so very much!
The birthday girl went to bed saying "It's Daddy-O's turn next to have a birthday party." Love her so very much.

Christmas 2013

Christmas was so much fun this year. Marin really understood what was happening which made it even more fun. She knew Santa was coming and that he would bring her presents. So when Christmas morning came she headed downstairs as usual. But I told her to wait for Hollis so she was helping and holding Hollis' hand down the stairs...UNTIL....she hit the corner of the staircase and could see the presents under the tree. Then it was "see ya, Hollis" and she was GONE. It was hilarious. She couldn't move fast enough down those steps. When she got down she just looked in awe at all the presents. It was PRECIOUS. "Wow wee!" And then the opening began....

So excited!
Hollis loved it too. But she had to play with each and every toy she opened. So it took her a LONG time to open gifts. Luckily, her big sister ripped open her presents in about 2 minutes so she offered to lend her a hand with her gifts.

Thank you Mimi for my Dora doll!

Thank you Mimi for my Minnie Mouse light up shoes!

Thank you, Mimi!

Combing her horsey's hair. :o)

She actually hugged this one and said "Oh I love presents!"
 hahahahaha!
This was a Mermaid Barbie for the bathtub.
Yes, we had to take a bath after opening presents.

Her very own "Ipa". She was thrilled.

She loved her baby.
Thank you, Mimi!

Still taking care of all of her baby needs.
Mimi, they both love their babies.

Trying out her new Princess Sofia headphones!
Thank you, Mimi! She loves them.

Our techy toddlers!
Hollis is pretty funny listening to the headphones.
