Halloween 2014

We had two princesses this year for Halloween. Princess Jasmine (Marin's favorite princess) and Cinderella. Dress up is a big play time activity around here so those "costumes" actually came from our dress up box. Originally they wanted to be Dorothy and Glenda the Good Witch. Those were the costumes we actually got this year and they got to wear those for 2 other Halloween parties but on the night of Halloween, Jasmine and Cinderella were the costume winners. They LOVED Halloween this year. Our neighborhood was out of control last year but this year it was so quiet. Weird. But we did have a few houses that went all out with the decorations and gave the kids a good scare (which they loved) and some good candy (which they loved).

Burke had to leave for work right before trick or treating but we got a quick picture or 12 with him and his royalty.

Never can look at the camera at the same time. Stinkers.
Marin learned bunny ears from her cousin Drew. She thinks its hilarious!

A little play time before the festivities....
 Jasmine and the Dragon Slayer....

The girls of the gang minus Taylor!

They had to walk through the cat to get the candy. There were some that were really scary....one man in a black suit looked like a statue at the door...when the kids came up and said trick or treat he said "Boo". Scared them to death. They loved. It's weird but Marin and Hollis love to be scared. They think its hilarious. They did not get that from me. I am a huge wimp. You say boo to me and more than likely I will wet my pants.

Don't say boo to me.

Fall Festival and Pumpkin Patch

We have a pumpkin patch at a church within walking distance to us. It is the cutest pumpkin patch ever and we go several times during the month. But this year we went to their Fall Festival and then to the get pumpkins with our home school group at our church! It was a lot of fun!

They won cupcakes at the cake walk. :o)

Hollis didn't want to be in the picture. So she went behind me. ha!

Fire Station Field Trip

So I am waaaay behind on this good ol' blog....today is catch up day. First up, way back in October the girls got to go to the fire station for a field trip with "Sparkle' school. They got to get in the fire truck, tour the station, and hold the water hose (with a fireman's help). It was fun and they got a fireman's hat to take home with them.

Cracks me up. Oh, those eyes. I promise they loved being in the fire truck.
