Random Pictures!

• We found a story time at the library! Yay! Hollis loved it until they passed out musical instruments to all 20+ kids and the banging began. She got a wee bit scared then. 

Marin was having a blast.

• Marin has become quite the little artist. She LOVES to color! We are just forgetting occasionally that we color on paper and not on doors. :o)

I'm waaaaay behind. I know.

Here's why.....

No, we didn't go to a fun aquarium. This is the new Children's Memorial Hospital in downtown Chicago. We have been there TWICE in the last week. Apparently our precious 21 lbs, 5 month old has an allergy or intolerance to oatmeal. Both times she started vomiting and wouldn't stop. Our pediatrician sent us to Children's both times because we have food allergies in our family and although they aren't sure if that is what caused it, they don't play around with allergies in little people. So off we went. The first time they had to give her a pill to help her stop. The second time, once she got it all out, she was fine. They had me nurse to make sure she could hold it down and she did just fine. So we are moving on to fruits and vegetables and skipping oatmeal and cereals for a while.

Marin was very happy that sister was okay but even happier with all the fun things to play with in the ER. She didn't want to leave. 

All better!!

Gymnastics

A few snapshots of Marin's gymnastics class.

My plate is pretty full with these two. 

Hollis- 5 Months Old

Hollis turned 5 months old on Monday! This girl is growing too fast! She is so much fun.

So far, Hollis....

• loves, loves, loves Marin. She watches her so closely and lights up whenever she gets some attention from her. 
• wants to sit up on her own so badly and is so. very. close. She can make it for about a minute and then she falls on her face. 
• grins from ear to ear when she sees her Daddy. 
• is a squirmy, squirmy traveler. She has officially had her first plane ride and not only does she have to see EVERYTHING that is going on but she DEMANDS the attention of everyone around her. But she is pretty darn friendly and will smile, smile, smile. 
• loves taking a bath especially with big sister. Although she is quickly outgrowing her bathtub seat. She better hurry up and learn how to sit up on her own. 
• will only go to sleep when you rock in her car seat. Little stinker. 
• loved getting attention from her cousins. :o)
• loves going for walks in the stroller. 
• can now swing in the swings at the park. Loves it. 
• has tried oatmeal and will be getting more solids soon. ;o) 

Marin needed to hold Hollis for part of the photo shoot. :o)
