Marin's 5th Birthday: Art Party!

Marin decided on a art party this year! It was actually a fun one to plan and put together. And Marin was involved with it all. Seriously, she did most of the work. She loves a good party.
They painted a canvas, did sand art with pixie sticks, and decorated a cupcake! Marin decided on a candy cane walk with color squares and a pinata for more games!

 This 5th birthday has been a big deal to this little girl. Turning 5.. a whole hand...is a special thing!

 She could not wait for her guests to arrive!

 Getting 17 five year olds to sit for a picture is really not possible but here is the crowd we got. Aren't they such cute little friends!!!

 Marin worked so hard on all the decorations. She LOVES party planning. It really is so sweet.

Marin Age 5

Having a December 27th birthday can be a little tricky. We have been able to get away with a spring party in the past but Marin really gets it this year and did not want to wait. So...we celebrated on her actual day but then had her party in January when her friends were back in town (and their parents wouldn't hate me for having a party so soon after Christmas....).

Christmas Eve/Day 2015

We actually celebrated Christmas on December 22 this year because Burke had to work. We called Santa and he came early just so our Daddy could be there. Pretty nice of him. :o) But Christmas Eve they opened presents from family. They were so excited! 

 Then Christmas morning Santa came....

 Jolly left and went back with Santa but left the girls a note to say goodbye.

 They got highchairs for their babies. So stinking cute!!!!


Non Christmas related but....Hollis loves her pup.
