Namaste

So Burke and I did a little yoga this morning from our DVR fitness station thing. Anywho, Marin wanted in on the exercising! So, we looked at the kid fitness section and found some kid yoga. It was really cute and Marin actually watched and tried to do some of it (with our help of course). But I did snap a few pictures just because it was too, too cute.

You sit with your mom or dad and move your arms and legs!

Our 3 Week Old!

Sweet Hollis turned 3 weeks old today. She is such a sweet girl....staying awake for longer periods of time and showing her personality more and more every day. She nurses a LOT. I really forgot how much a newborn eats. Hollis will nurse about 11 times in 24 hours. She goes about 2 hours between feedings and sometimes one 3 hour stretch. I will definitely be glad when this time stretches out a bit more. Sleeping....well....this is a touchy subject. :o) Again, I had forgotten (even though it wasn't that long ago) how much a newbie needs TLC during the night. At least she is cute and oh so cuddly at 3am!!

Quiet, rest time...

 Marin is really doing great with Hollis. She points and says "ba" (baby) and then laughs, laughs, laughs. She did say "baby" for the first time tonight. We hope she eventually learns her name is Hollis or she may call her "ba" for the rest of her life. But overall, with the exception of a few cold/teething days, she has done an EXCELLENT job adjusting to baby sister.

2 Weeks Old!

Sweet Hollis turned 2 weeks old on Thursday. She is getting more and more alert and is awake much more these days. She weighs 9 lbs 9 oz now and seems to want to eat all day long. :o) We are trying to get on some kind of schedule but she has her own ideas! She is such a happy baby and loves to snuggle! She likes to rock too but if you let her snuggle close, she will be so happy. We started some tummy time and she can pick her head up really well! But she was definitely ready for a nap afterwards. And she gets the hiccups all the time...poor thing! Every day she looks more and more like her Daddy and Marin (with dark hair). So. Very. Cute!
