Tot Olympics

We loved watching the Olympics at our house and we did some more little activities to cheer on USA!
First, a M&M activity! Always fun.

Then I set up a little Tot Olympic course for Marin to go through. We had the forward roll, the trunk high jump, ball throw, ball kick, donkey kick, and slide. She had fun going through the obstacle course but she thought it was hilarious to see me go through it. :o)

Lincolnwood Festival

We took the girls to the Lincolnwood Festival today. It was HOT HOT but Marin had so. much. fun. She apparently did not inherit our fear of heights. Rode all the rides with a big smile and waved at everyone. We got several comments like "whoa, she is brave...strong...fearless....now how old is she again?" She really did a great job. And she picked up a lucky little rubber ducky and won and new pink ball. "Ball" is one of her most favorite words.

WARNING:  Tons of pictures below.
Not sure of this place but....

She caught on real fast.
Had a blast.

Waving!

She loved flying the helicopter. :o)

Another wave!

Ready to go up, up, up!
Way up high.

The BEST BABY IN THE WORLD!!

Weeee! She went pretty fast and pretty high.

Hollis got to ride this one and the baby had a blast.
She laughed and waved her arms. It was really funny to see her reaction.

The carousel!

This was really high and really fast.
Not sure why I was the designated parent to ride it but I screamed. Out of fear.
And it embarrassed Burke. Ha!
Marin, of course, loved it.
She may have been embarrassed by me too.

Again, THE BEST BABY IN THE WORLD.

One more helicopter ride before we go....

The Three Little Pigs...the Musical

We went and saw The Three Little Pigs today at a children's theater. It was adorable. The girls loved it!
the brick house

The Big Bad Wolf

A Pig (the smart one that built her house out of brick.)

Olympics

We did a couple of Olympic crafts and we have a little Tot Olympics for Marin on the to do list. Pictures to come of that. But....

We made an USA pennant.
Serious artist.

We had to break out the markers since it is the Olympics.

We were making a torch but she wasn't a big fan of that one.

Our "flames" were out and....

it quickly became a megaphone.

Crawler?!?!

This little girl is getting herself to her tummy and scooting and rolling like she is about to start crawling. Lord, help me. I can't help but kiss her all day. Can you blame me?
