A Little Bit of Everything + Dad's Birthday

So this post is just a bunch of random pictures from our days...
Hollis is now officially a student in "Sparkle School". We haven't gone a whole lot this semester but it is pretty crazy seeing her sit and "participate" in class.

She made her Dad a birthday cake out of her kinetic sand.

They sat and read books together for the longest time.
 I loooooovved it.
Hollis is now in her very own ballet class all by herself.
Pretty proud of her!

We now have two fish...Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash.

We went to a free festival in the park. Marin had a blast with some group exercising....
It actually made a huge impression on her and she will randomly start exercising during the day.
I need her motivation.

Hollis just liked the blow up slide. ;o)

See? Push-ups.

They love their daddy.
Morning snuggles watching shows.

I wish I could turn this picture. But the girls each picked out a birthday card for Burke.
And they both wrote his name on their card.
They did such a good job!

Ice cream cake!

Birthday Dancing with Dad!
We are hoping they don't grow up dancing like Church of Christ girls.

We went to the zoo for Burke's birthday. They found the little bubble that you could climb in and watch the animals.
Hollis was a bit concerned at first.

Love them!

We splurged and feed the giraffes. It was pretty fun!
 Then....

Sister rest time. So sweet.

Quick Trip to Alabama

We made a quick trip to Alabama to see Pop and Carole. The girls love going to Alabama. Seriously...see the last picture.
Carole kept all the Christmas decorations up so we could have a belated Christmas together.

They love playing in the "play room".

They got flying fairies from Pop and Carole. So very cool!!!
And this is what we look like at the airport when it is time to go....every. single. time. Huge tears and lots of crying "why do we have to go back to Texas?" It's painful.

Visitors!

First we had Brig and Caden and Tabor come for a visit! The girls loved seeing their uncle and cousins!

Love this one.

Paw Patrol puzzle

Playing with balloons with the teenagers. The girls loved it...Caden and Tabor...eh. ;)

We went bowling one night.
They say I cheated. But I didn't.

Then the Jackson's came for a visit! It was so fun to see them and catch up. Our girls were in a "little bit shy" kinda mood. And definitely not going to cooperate for photo. Surprise, surprise.

Marin turns 4!!!

So waaaaay back on December 27, Marin turned 4. It's really hard to believe but she is definitely growing into such a sweet, precious little girl. *tear* We always do a little celebration for her on that day but her "party" will be later on in the spring or summer.

The birthday table all set for her!
She did ask, "Are these presents from you or from Santa?" Poor Christmas baby.

 A little excited....

Then we went to the bakery and she got to pick out a cupcake! She stuck her Jasmine and Rajah on it to make it a Princess Jasmine cake. :o)

And we ate them after a good Chick-fi-la lunch. Birthday girl request. *Hollis loves having her picture taken.*
Came home for some quiet rest time before....drum roll....we went to see Jake and Sophia LIVE. Oh my. They loved it and we have heard talk of Disney World ever since. Better start saving pennies now.
 Princess Sophia was first....

Trying to capture all three of us...this was the best one. :o)

Then Jake and the Neverland Pirates. They LOVE Jake.

But they LOVE Peter Pan even more. So they were THRILLED when he made an appearance in the show.
 Oh Captain Hook....that codfish.
She had a great day and although we missed our Daddy very much were so thankful for his hard work so that we could celebrate our big 4 year old in such a special way!

A few I love...

So I am going to catch up today. Here are just a few pictures that I loved from the past {few} months.
Go Fish!

I got in a sewing mood and made some pants and shirts for the girls.
This shirt has been worn several times! Yay!

Both girls wore one of cousin Kate's dresses for Christmas church.
Hollis WILL NOT let me take her picture.

Picnic at the park! I love Texas weather.

Sweet, sweet Daddy,
We had just picked him up at the airport.
Very happy to see each other!!!

Just like Daddy....
