Last Day of Preschool Water Party

The girls attended a small preschool this year at our friend's home. It was such a sweet little school and the girls had a blast. Here are pictures from their last day of school water party.

Field Day 2016

We hosted a little field day at our house this year for a few of our homeschool buddies. It was a lot of fun and...hot! But the kids did have a good time!

First the warm up and sweet Journie even said a prayer for our attitudes...win or lose. Then they got to pick out a bubble "trophy" for participating. If they won first place in a race they got to put a blue star sticker on their bubble trophy, red star for second place, etc. So by the end they had a sticker collection of sorts.
Egg/Spoon Race....we actually used a ping pong ball.

Belly Ball Race

Sack Race/Three Legged Race (hilarious!)

Goofball

"I'm Thirsty" Race....they had to fill a cup with water, carry it above their heads, and race to the pitcher to fill it up. It was a fun one.

Beach Ball Hockey

Drip, Drip, Dunk (played like duck duck goose.....)
 Water Balloon Fight!!!

The Gang! Serious and Silly.....

Spring Fun

We started listening to audio books on audible.com. Love them. Our first was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Currently we are listening to the Wizard of Oz.

The girls usually draw while while we listen. They are really into drawing these days.
Penny even sticks around for school.

Marin had her spring dance recital at the beginning of May. She did a beautiful job! She loved dance but is excited to try theater next year. :o)
