Happy 4th Birthday, Hollis!

Hollis had talked about an Ariel party for months but a few weeks before her birthday, she decided on a Princess Sofia party. So we celebrated with Sofia, amulets, and lots of animals!!

As the guests arrived, they picked out an amulet and a ring. For those that don't know Sophia, her amulet gives her the power to talk to animals. She has animal friends Minumus (her flying horse) and Clover (her bunny).
Once they got their jewelry, they decorated a princess crown while we waited for all the guests to arrive.

Then Hollis' favorite part of the party arrives. She woke up that morning asking every 5 minutes if it was time for the horse and rabbits to arrive. We are very lucky to live next to neighors that have a whole LOT of pets. The girls love it because we practically have a petting farm next door. But Zooko and all the bunnies arrived for the kids to see.

This is Kera, one of their dogs that both girls love so much. So she got to come to the party too.

I had two little stations for them to play with between animal visits.....purple (Sofia's signature color) kinetic sand with castle molds for them to build the city of Enchancia and then Sofia's castle and all the dolls for them to imagine play. I loved listening to them all take turns sayng the voices of each of the characters. It was pretty cute.

Later she opened presents! My friend from church said that she would take a picture of the birthday girl with the friend and gift given as a sweet little reminder. I loved that idea but it didn't go so well with 4 year olds. They were all way too excited to see what was in each bag.

 We had pizza and then....

sang Happy Birthday and ate cake. Look at that face.

She had wanted that Sophia since we picked the cake up....and she finally got it!

This was a "princess puts her heart into everything she does" hopscotch game that we didn't get too because...well, a horse is way more fun. :o)

Then "Clover" and all his bunny friends arrived.
They got to feed the horse and rabbits carrots!

And then a few of the decorations....

My party planning assistant helped make the crown cookie party favors.
