Pumpkin Patch

We went to a pumpkin patch today at a church very close to  us. It as so, so cute.

They have a little school at the church and each scarecrow was decorated by a different class. 

In the Kids Candy Corn Station, they had different little activities set up for the kids.

Hollis wanted no part of this. 

This one was so fun...they pumped the water to make the Halloween rubber ducky go down the ramp into the hole. 

Teamwork

Yep, this was the good one. 

They had a little spooky maze. I thought it was so cute with bones, spiders, and rats throughout the maze.
Marin thought it was scary...but she still loved it. 

Cookies, Car Rides, and More October Park Days

We made Halloween cookies the other day. Hollis LOVED it. Marin did too but I was really a bit shocked at how much fun Hollis had doing it. 

Marin lined up all of her animals for a car ride. A very long car ride apparently because she played this FOREVER and just talked and talked to all of her animals. It was really cute.

And more park days....did I mention we are having some great park days??? Sorry for all the pictures.

This thing makes me so nervous. But she is so good at it and loves climbing up.
It reminds of how BIG she is getting. 

Nothing but rotten.

She got a turn next and was in heaven. :o)

Then we went to the other park in our neighborhood...we call it the dinosaur park. The girls loved it.

Marin had on jeans too that fit her perfectly but she didn't like them and cried until I took them off.
She is becoming very opinionated about her attire. Ugh.

She had to go potty and well, she had to go in the grass.
Marin can be a bit girly girl sometimes so I wasn't sure how she was going to like going "potty in the grass".
Well, she loved it. Talked about it the whole stroller ride home. "I go pee pee in the grass."

We are loving some park days right now. The mornings/evenings have cooled down and we spend some time there every day. Here they girls are on the "spin-y thing".

We also have some bike and "skateboard" time. Marin is getting so good at her "skateboard" and she looks so big doing it. Hollis is pretty close to figuring out how to peddle the little red bike too.

Hollis LOVES, I mean LOVES, baby dolls. Plays with them all day long. Such a good momma.

And I got these shoe racks to help organize our shoe mess. The newness is wearing off (thank goodness) and they have gone from being strollers and doll bunk beds back to actually holding shoes. :o
