More Creepy Crawlies

Hollis took a good long nap, so Marin and I had some fun with the messier side of our creepy crawly fun!

First....we did some ladybug spot counting with CHEERIOS.

Next....some paper towel roll PAINTING! She made "ladybugs" and "caterpillars". She loved it. And it made me so happy.

First, red ladybugs.

Now, a green caterpillar.

Hard at work.

Her bugs needed some blue sky.
And she needed a paintbrush. Oh, she was in heaven.

So cute.

Serious artist.

Her creepy crawly masterpiece.
Ladybugs and Caterpillars (with some sun and sky). :o)

And because she loved it so much and we were on a roll with messy stuff. We pulled out the Play Doh! I took a lot of pictures of this because she was just so cute.

Checking out the ladybug we made. :o)

Rolling out little bitty ladybugs.

And now, a LOOOONNNNGGGG caterpillar.

We made bug imprints but the popsicle sticks were her favorite.

Love this sweet girl!

Having some great fun!

Having a little snack to get the play doh taste out of her mouth.

She's being a stinker here.
She kept putting the play doh to her mouth and then laughing every time I said "no no".

Stinker!

Love everything about this post. I'm going to have to do the toliet paper roll painting with the girls, perfect for Hope but I know Hannah would like it too. And don't even get me started with play-doh... Hope CANNOT keep it out of her mouth. Marin is just the cutest sitting up there at the table like a big girl. Did she grow up over night or what?!

Are you a teacher or something?? ;)

So very very cute! She seems so big!

This post gently reminded me that the 4th kid needs some of this fun himself. May have to revisit some of these fun activities. Thanks for the inspiration.
